Summer is almost here (hoorah!) and we’re getting ready to crack open the SPF30+ and put the woollies away for hibernation.

In preparation for an amazing season of style ahead, we have just completed our summer photo shoot and wanted to share some behind the scenes shots with you!

The photos will give you a taste of what’s in store for summer and show you just how much fun we had on the day shooting our little models in the latest looks.

A BIG thank you also to our models and their parents who worked so hard to make the results wonderful.

It’s always a slightly crazy day - but as we discovered on the day, there’s nothing that a natural confectionery company snake (or two!) can’t solve (and that goes for the adults as well as the kids!).

Sometimes keeping abreast of kids trends is trickier than it is for us adults. The world of kid’s products is about as fickle and ever changing as a toddler’s mood.

In short, it’s a hard slog keeping up with the latest pram, cot and gadget on the market. I should know - I thought I had it all sorted with baby number 1 (Stokke cot - check! Reversible bassinet style jogger pram - check!) only to find two years down the track and expecting number 2 that everything I had that seemed so timeless, so perfect, so must have - is suddenly old hat!

While I’m not about to rush out and replace all these big ticket items (I don’t want to give my husband a stroke after all!), it’s nice to have somewhere to drool over the latest styles in baby and kids gear.

And that’s where Babyology steps in.



Run by Mandi Gunsberger (who I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of weeks ago when she came for a little behind the scenes peek at Baby’s Got Style HQ), a Sydney-based mum of two wonderful girls. Pre-babies, she worked in marketing, public relations and event management both in Australia and the US. Since becoming a mum, her obsession with shopping for herself has developed into a fixation with baby related purchases. After spending far too long searching the internet for great products, she decided to spread her knowledge among the growing band of like-minded parents through the Babyology site.

Mandi’s the first to admit that the products highlighted on Babyology run from the practical to the sublime and everything in between! But that’s the fun of it.

If you’re in the midst of building a dream nursery or just want some fun style baby inspiration, then I am sure that you will happily spend a nap time (theirs, not yours!) trawling through its pages. Enjoy (just beware falling in love with a must have cot that’s only available in the US… you’ll pay more for the shipping than you will for the cot!).
